History
The first materials of the present-day TEPEX® family were created in the early 1990s in the research laboratories of the DuPont company. In 1997 the materials experts Jochen Bauder and Joost van Lindert, who had played a pivotal role in the development process, acquired all sales and technology rights to TEPEX® through a management buy-out. In 2000, Centrotec Sustainable AG (Brilon, Germany) acquired an interest in the company. This was one of the key developments in the success story of the new company Bond-Laminates, now one of the world's leading composite product (advanced composite) developers, manufacturers and distributors. Bond-Laminates' operations are now based in Brilon, where it has three continuous production plants and its own materials and prototypes development laboratory.
