TEPEX^® production

TEPEX^® materials are produced tailored to order, by a process that is suitable for mass production use. For a long time, the problem of how to impregnate the woven fabric with highly viscous thermoplastic melts remained a major obstacle to success. Bond-Laminates has systematically refined its double belt press technology for the production of thermoplastic fibre composites. As well as permitting a customer-specific, application-optimised structure of the laminate, this continuous production method makes it possible to obtain large articles exhibiting a very consistent standard of quality.
